While making a film about Detroit over the past year and a half, I have come to care deeply about its success. And I have seen first hand the impact that grass roots efforts can have on the communities.
So, I’ll cut to the chase. The Artists Village and Chazz Miller need your help. In order to do the great work they’re doing in the Brightmoor community, they need to prevent the demolition and/or corporatization of the space around them.
There is a space directly across from the Artist Village that is up for auction. Chazz needs it to teach, hold workshops, and mentor kids to keep them off the streets and make art.
I’d like to buy that space and give the deed to the Artists village. Right now, the bid is up to $1000. I’ll match that, and I would like to put it on the “Lemonade: Detroit” community to plus it.
It’s on you.
For the next 24 hours, every frame that is purchased on buyaframe.lemonadedetroit.com will not only get you producer status on the feature-length film, but it will also go toward buying land and structure that can help Chazz continue his inspiring work.
So what do you say? Buy frames, help Chazz, help Detroit, and become a producer of Lemonade: Detroit before 10:00 tomorrow morning.
Go.

For only $1.00 a frame you to can be part of the building of DETROIT with Chazz Miller and everyone involved in Lemonade Detroit.
